I'm in the market for my first e-bike and I want to use it for commuting from East Long Beach to downtown. I've been looking at a few options but I'm overwhelmed by the choices.
My budget is around $2000-3000. I need something that can handle the flat city streets, has decent range (at least 30 miles), and is comfortable for a 20-minute ride each way. I'm also wondering about the e-bike laws in Long Beach — are there any restrictions I should know about?
Has anyone bought an e-bike recently from a local shop? Any recommendations on brands or shops to check out?
